Crafting Control

Take control of crafting costs and crafting time with separate settings for each workstation. Reduce material costs, craft for free, remove recipe currency costs, or make crafting instant—all through the in-game Settings menu.

• []Adjustable Material Costs: Choose any whole percentage from 0% to 100%. Set 0% for free materials, 50% for half cost, or 100% for normal costs.[/]

  []Sliders and Number Entry: Adjust the slider or click the percentage’s Edit button to enter an exact value.[/]

  []Independent Workstation Settings: Configure crafting bench, cooking, blacksmithing, milling, and refining separately.[/]

The crafting menu, ingredient display, craftable quantity, and actual payment use the same adjusted costs.

Workstation Controls

Each crafting type has its own settings:

• []Crafting Bench / Woodcrafting[/]

  []Cooking / Stove[/]

  []Blacksmithing[/]

  []Milling[/]

  []Refining[/]

Stations of the same crafting type share settings. For free crafting bench materials with normal cooking, set the crafting bench’s Material Cost to 0% and turn off Enable Controls for Cooking / Stove.

How Reduced Costs Work

Material percentages apply after the game’s crafting-perk adjustments. Reduced quantities round up to whole ingredients:

• []10 materials at 50% → 5 materials[/]

  []3 materials at 50% → 2 materials[/]

  []1 material at 50% → 1 material[/]

Nonzero percentages still require at least one of each ingredient. Choose 0% for fully free materials. Costs are calculated per recipe, then multiplied by the quantity crafted.

Default Settings

For new installations, each workstation starts with:

When updating, your previous global settings are automatically applied to all five workstation profiles. You can then adjust them separately.

Installation

Replace the previous

crafting_controlfolder with the new version, then run MOMI’s Install process again.

Uninstalling

Disable or remove the mod folder and run MOMI again. Normal crafting costs and times will return.

Compatibility

Crafting Control should work alongside mods that only track crafting activity. Mods that also modify crafting component costs may stack or be affected by installation order.
