Better Season Colors

I always found strange how the Fields of Mistria feature colorful interiors, cheerful characters with vibrant portraits, and a joyful atmosphere, yet, the game's land appeared to be somewhat gloomy colored, which doesn't match the lore's description of it being "a rich and bountiful land". The mod simply is trying to address this by recoloring the tilesets, and specifically Spring's, Summer's and Fall's grass. It does not recolor Winter's tileset which is fine anyways and almost everything is covered by snow. Also the mod does not recolor soil, water or rocks/shrubs/cut-able trees. It merely improves the color palette of the land and forests to have a more Mistria-lore-friendly, cheerful and vibrant feel each season, with the choice of colors being inspired by similar, yet popular, titles such as Stardew Valley, and even other 2D titles that feature four seasons, such as The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Pokemon.

Installation

• []Extract the zip file into your Mods folder and run ModsOfMistriaInstaller.exe to install it.

  []If the Install button looks disabled, try running the ModsOfMistriaInstaller-cli.exe version instead.

• []If multiple mods replace the same asset, you need to remove that asset from one mod's JSON file to avoid conflicts.

  []For easier browsing, I have sorted the assets in this mod into commonly modded categories.

  []Alternatively, you can rename your mods alphabetically in order of preference, as MOMI

  will retain the version from the last installed mod.

Notes

• []The mod is offered "as-is". I do not have much of free time that would enable me to accept mod requests. Sorry. You may find that some vanilla trees do not fit well with the retextured seasons from my mod, but this is not truly the case, is purely a personal preference. The game's trees, bushes, and plants are stored by the developers of the game into their own separate sprite files, which are hundreds... Modding such a large number of sprites is challenging, and I’m too lazy to venture into this direction. My mod merely resorts to recoloring the basic Season tilesets and only that. I am content with this limited approach to modding the game's looks, because it already gives me the desired look in my game: seasons now look alot better than in vanilla game. If you feel that the trees/plants might need some minor recoloring adjustments/do not match the new tileset palette, feel free to do it yourself, by following the tutorial here, as I did:
