HD 4K 8K texture collection

This is my HD/4K/8K Textures collection.

• []I've up-scaled the color and normal textures using AI to 2x sometimes 4x resolution (for logos , posters etc).[/]

  []Most eye/irises have been not just up-scaled but enhanced. (for main and NPC characters as optional files)[/]

  []Most Hair textures have been not just up-scaled but regenerated too. (for main characters as optional files)[/]

  []Some environment textures like bricks, walls have been replaced with ambientCG real 3d scan textures as optional file[/]

  []almost all logo, text, graffiti, posters CG art textures have been upscaled and probably are the most noticeably upscaled textures of all, as they benefited a lot from it[/]

  []eventhough the file naming does not suggest it, the ENV files contain all enviromental textures, also shinra building, slums, fort condor gui etc[/]

  There are no meshes here, but you can and should combine it with the enhanced meshes too:

  🔧 Installation

  use a mod installer like vortex

  put them into the:

  FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE\End\Content\Paks\~mods

  pictures taken with AO enabled:

  SDR Reshade with ambient occlusion

  INSTALLATION ORDER:

  It follows a standard numeric and character sorting.

  files starting with numbers are lowest , "a" are low, "z" is high prio.

  z overwrites a

  - generally speaking put the textures as low as possible, so that specialized textures can overwrite them

  - all my packs are not overlapping , except the logo textures, put them higher to overwrite the generic up-scaled ones

  MY PERSONAL IMPORTANCE MAP, HIGHEST TO LOWEST:

  i would leave away lower ones as soon as i get into vram/fps problems:

  probabbly only 5% of the mod size but 80% of the visual apparent changes, probably no issue for anyone to install this group

  second in order with PC - NPCs and objects , enemies , summons etc

  Generic NPCs

  environmental textures, biggest one, but eventually least noticeable if not getting close to walls objects etc

  PERFORMANCE IMPACT:

  as long as you have enough VRAM, there is no real impact at all.

  If your vram gets little short, the engine when needed kicks out one texture from vram reads the needed one from disk to vram etc etc. This will impact gradually the performance depending on how much texture swapping has to be done (how many textures
