Trouble In Termina

Description

Trouble in Termina is a gameplay overhaul mod touching upon several aspects of the game. It adds new mechanics, rebalances old skills, adds new skills, and makes several changes to enemies and the overworld.

Main features

The mod file includes the full detailed changelog of every change made to the game, but here are some of the core changes:

• []Added an Ending D: Escape. It's not too exciting, similar to Funger 1's Ending E.[/]

  []Added RUSH mode (Which is coming to the next official update), giving you a power boost for your next attack after destroying an enemy limb. It also lets you change equipment without wasting your action![/]

  []Added a larger overall emphasis on damage types. In addition to each enemy being weak against a particular type of damage (such as slashing for fleshy enemies or blunt for armored enemies), each body part now also has a specific damage type that's better against it: Slashing is good against arms, Piercing is good against the torso, and Blun [/]

  []Agility is now a much more involved stat. Several enemies have lowered or increased agility compared to their previous selves. And now cutting off enemy legs reduces their agility by up to half.[/]

  []Enemies and status effects have been rebalanced, now torso-rushing is much less viable. Destroying the limbs, and even going for headshots after destroying the legs, is better than before. Some bosses also got new skills or mechanics, and all contestants now become more powerful the more days pass.[/]

  []Trading in the heads of certain bosses to the Tainted One can now give their souls to you, which are powerful accessories.[/]

  []Many new RNG elements, including which skills recruitable party members start with, the contents of the Radiating One's shop, and new Skill Books that populate bookshelves.[/]

  Installation Instructions

  • []Unzip the file contents[/]

    []Go to wherever Termina is installed on your machine[/]

    []Make a copy of the folder "www". Keep this copy as a backup with your original game files on it.[/]

    []Copy the "www" folder from the mod to your Termina folder. When asked to replace files, select yes to all.[/]

    []That's it! Open the game normally and the mod should be applied.[/]

    Known Issues

    These are known bugs with the current version, they'll be fixed in the next update:

    Compatibility

    Trouble in Termina was made with Fear & Hunger 2: Termina's version 1. 9. 1 in mind. As the update will massively overhaul the game, it will no longer be compatible after that unless I update this mod as well.

    As Trouble in Termina touches upon many files of the game, it will likely be incompatible with any other mods that affect gameplay.
