Quick Loot 2

Description

Scavenging for resources is a big part of the game, and it can also take a big chunk of the player's time if they die a lot. During normal gameplay, looting various objects like crates, barrels, bookshelves, and corpses pauses the game until the player goes through the message window displaying the info on their acquired booty. Because this pause is so ubiquitous, I decided to make a mod that would eliminate it. QuickLoot allows you to "quickly" go through many containers without having to spam the action key or sit through the message window. This is an early release, so not all planned features are implemented yet.

  Doesn't currently have any settings for you to easily change. They will be included in the full release.

  Installing & Uninstalling

  For now this mod only supports manual installation. Full release will be also compatible with mod loaders.

  Manual

  • []Download the main file archive and open it with your preferred file archiver.

    []Open the installation directory of Fear & Hunger (where the .exe file is stored).

    []Copy the www folder from the mod archive into the directory above and accept the merge.

    []Copy the FH_QuickLoot.js file from the mod archive into the www/js/plugins folder.

    []Open the plugins.js file from your game's directory www/js/.

    []Paste the following line in the file to enable the mod in-game :

    []Save the file with your changes.

  • Done!

    To uninstall this mod, just undo every step you made during the installation process.

    Compatibility

    This mod is distributed as a plugin, so it is supposed to be compatible with most other mods unless stated otherwise.
