No empty chests

In essence the script parses all json files and replaces the "This chest is empty" case when failing coin toss for opening a chest with a minor item loot (like the ones in barrels, boxes etc.) thus you will always get something out of a chest.

Tested on vanilla and Prehevil Plus, as long as no changes are done to chest open sequence it should work.

Find "data" folder in F&H2 (e.g. C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger 2 Termina\www\data) and make a copy (for backup)

Open a console window where the script is located and run it like this:

❯ .\no_empty_chest.exe "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger 2 Termina\www\data"

If all is correct it should print something like this

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger 2 Termina\www\data\Map009.json: 3 replacements done

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger 2 Termina\www\data\Map011.json: 6 replacements done

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger 2 Termina\www\data\Map020.json: 4 replacements done

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger 2 Termina\www\data\Map021.json: 3 replacements done

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger 2 Termina\www\data\Map024.json: 6 replacements done

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger 2 Termina\www\data\Map026.json: 3 replacements done

After all files are done you can try it in game.

Call the executable with "-u" argument:

❯ .\no_empty_chest.exe "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fear & Hunger 2 Termina\www\data" -u

The archive contains python script as well as script packed as executable for convenience with auto-py-to-exe tool.
