Islington Orphanage

The central theme is an abandoned orphanage with some background history.

This time, I have tried to include more content than just a settlement more. Once it is relatively safe to go to Inslington, try to get into this semi-abandoned region. You will find there some enemies, a couple of friendly characters with some strange requests and many books. Not all the quests are fully guided, which is intentional. If you find difficulties, read and explore the place. An attempt has been made to increase interactivity with some elements, switches mainly (just part of my learning process). There is also a particular way of cleaning partially the orphanage... Let me know your opinion about it. Also activating the settlement requires a bit of an effort. Pay attention to the notes!

A settlement is included in the mod, so better load this not too high, and do not uninstall it if you want to conserve the safe that has seen the mod running already.

No Precombines or Previsibines have been generated. It is therefore relatively safe to scrap around.

It is highly recommended to use PLACE EVERYWHERE for further changing the place.

Also highly recommended is SNAPPY HOUSEKIT if you want to fully repair the orphanage.

In the tests, I had no FPS drops problems; the settlement registered perfectly and delivered as expected.

All quests are self contained in this space.

FINALLY, DON'T BE SHY AND SHARE YOUR OPINION! I have much fun modding, but I am totally new in this (only six mods in total before this one, all for FOLON) and I would very much appreciate hearing the constructive critics you might have. The larger the feedback the larger the motivation to continue learning and modding!

If a visible glitch shows up after revisiting the place in the same playing session, saving and reloading solves it. Despite my efforts to avoid this random occurring problem sometimes the boundary walls of Islington move to the original position. If any of you know which could be the reason, let me know.

Incompatibilities

None to my knowledge. If something goes on in this area in future releases of FOLON, most likely this mod will be completely off (so far I have not seen the team of FOLON working this area in the logs for the next update).
