Fallout 3 Zhu-Rong Damage Fix ************************************************ ********************************************* Introduction This mod fixes the VATS damage bug for the Zhu-Rong pistol which prevents it from doing bullet damage. ********************************************* Installation Unzip into your Fallout 3/Data folder, and activate. ********************************************* Use Once the mod is activated, the Zhu-Rong pistol should do damage as it was intended. ********************************************* Compatibility May conflict with other mods that make changes to the Zhu-Rong\'s projectile. This mod should work with any new weapons from other mods that use the same projectile as the Zhu-Rong. ********************************************* Details By comparing the Zhu-Rong Pistol with the Dart Gun, which has a similar delayed damage scheme, I was able to narrow down the cause of the bug to either being caused by the fire damage effect, or by the tiny explosion that the projectile makes on impact. Turning off the explosion fixed the problem. Simple! Note that this means that you won\'t see the tiny fireball at the impact point anymore, and the shot will no longer annoy people standing within kissing distance of the target. Your shots WILL do the intended normal and critical damage, and WILL set the target on fire.
