Update to Version 1 -Fixed size on EuroRifle, . 308 Rifle -Russian rifle is now slightly more accurate (slightly!) -Hopefully fixed texture pathing issues The Mod This mod adds four(4)(5-1) weapons to the wasteland. They all have a worn texture. The weapons are lore friendly, despite their real world origins. Their names in-game are generic to not break immersion. None of these are replacers! They are only added to the level lists. As you gain levels, weapon quality you find may improve. The Weapons: European Rifle (G3A3): This rifle is the precursor to the American R9 assault rifle. This rifle found its way to the wasteland through private collections and a limited service in the national guard. The weapon could be found in certain caches across the wastes. The government was testing the design, which would later be modified into the R9. This weapon served European forces, especially Germany, all the way up to the Energy Wars in the Middle East. It is slightly heavier, but more accurate than the R9. It only has a 20 round magazine. Raider Carbine (Ar15): This weapon gives raiders a better mid range weapon than the hunting rifle. Although single-shot, its slightly larger 556 round allows for more damage. It is semi auto and sports a 30(!) round magazine, making it a perfect successor to a would-be raider\'s hunting rifle. The weapon was originally a weapon issued to police and national guard units. (This is actually sort of lore friendly, because some New Vegas screens show an assault rifle that looks a lot like a wierd m4/m16). Russian Assault Rifle (Ak47): Although terribly inaccurate, it is a fully automatic rifle that uses the . 308 round. Although ammunition is scarce, it is a devastating weapon. It is quite inaccurate. It founds its way to the wastes through the Chinese, whose special forces grew fond of the weapon. Elite operators would sometimes opt for this weapon over the standard Chinese assault rifle. Although old, it still maintains respectable durability. . 308 Rifle (L1A1): This single shot, semi auto rifle uses a large . 308 round. It is quite accurate and deadly. Outcasts love it for its simple but effective design. The weapon was also used mainly by European operators, but some found their way to the Capital Wasteland via the military and national guard.
