Vechs\' More Effective Food Mod- ------------------------------- This mod makes all food heal over time, increasing the amount of health you get from food. However, because the health gain is over time, Stimpacks are still the best choice for instant health gain in-combat. Food is now a cost-efficient method to heal yourself when time is not an issue. Some food items also heal a small amount of radiation. (Brahman steak because they are rad resistant, pure water because you are flushing your system, ect.) Prices of food items have been adjusted to a formula of 1 cap = 2hp, although if a food item does other things (like removing radiation) then that is factored in as well. The cheapest food items actually have a slightly better cap / hp gain ration, but they also give you rads, so that is a drawback. This mod should enable a \"lone hermit\" style of roleplaying where you can live off wild meat from animals, if you are careful. (Though you still eventually need to deal with accumulating rads somehow...) - Installation - Put the .esp in your Data folder. Enable it when you launch fallout. - Uninstall - Delete the .esp This mod modifies the food items in Fallout 3. It should not conflict with other mods, unless they also modify the food in the game.
