ALL THAT IT DOES IS:

Changes the gamesetting fVATSPlayerDamageMult 0. 1 to fVATSPlayerDamageMult 1. 0 During every VATS sequences you have a stupid, magical 90% damage reduction effect enabled in the original game. If enemies shoot and hit you during the VATS animations, you take a greatly reduced damage. The damage reduction in the original game is there probably to make using VATS even easier than it already is.

This mod changes the original game so that you suffer damage in VATS mode as you suffer normally without VATS.

I've played the first 12 levels with this mod without any problems and using VATS makes the game still reeaally easy.

INSTALLATION:

Copy the .esp file into DATA folder in your game installation directory. For example: d:/games/fallout3/data

It is a good idea to use Nexus Mod Manager to install mods so you can see which ones are active. It is easy to disable and enable mods with it. Check Gopher's Fallout 3 modding tutorial videos in Youtube if you want to install mods.

THIS IS WHY YOU WANT THESE MODS:

Your weapon degrades 5 x faster when you use it in VATS mode. VATS Normal Weapon Degradation fixes that.

Cinematics gone mod removes every camera views except the first  person view from VATS combat. The game becomes more immersive especially with RH_Ironsights mod installed. You see the VATS animations through your ironsights and that's pure awesomeness.
