The White House Rebuilt

This mod is dedicated to its originator, Meyer189, who expended a massive effort in bringing the White House to life, and inspired my own efforts in joining him to complete this mod. Any kudos should be for Meyer189 without whose initial efforts this mod would not have been made. The original discussion thread and many screen shots is available here: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10173 To bolster President Eden’s claim to that lofty office, the Enclave has quietly over many years engaged in rebuilding the White House. The one who occupies the White House IS President. This mod is not strictly accurate but it should adequately portray the White House as it is today. The use of various room, particularly on the Presidents private floor change from time to time. The décor in the White House changes with surprising frequency, almost with every change of President, so the room décor has been derived from a study of the White House over the years. The Grand Staircase is missing, not that I could not have created it, but it would connect the first and second floor open spaces into a single cell and made them a bit difficult on frame rates. Instead I have use the Elevator to connect all levels. The elevator can be entered on all levels and by pressing a button go to the floor of choice. There are 4 levels. The ground floor, first floor, second floor (Presidents private quarters) and a basement or, Bunker level. This mod is not exhaustive because there are 35 rooms on the 2nd floor alone. Neither of the two wings, West-Wing, or East-Wing are represented in this mod. Doors to them on the ground level are indicated. On the ground floor doors merely indicate where the China Room, Vermeil Room, Map Room, and Library are on that floor. The Oval Office has been moved from the West Wing to a place on the Ground Floor. The Underground Bunker is not complete. Some of these things may be addressed later and another release made, though it is not seriously planned.
