📋 About This Mod

A basic buiding designed to be used primarily as a second player home for the established character. + Vertibird landing pad.

The Retreat - Player Home.

Description: ------------------------------------------------- This is a basic building designed to be used primarily as a second player home for the established character. Just to the right as you enter the building is a small office with all the essential equipment for gameplay in one room for fast and easy access while playing through the game. It includes all the additions that you would buy at Megaton or Tenpenny plus a terminal with a few helpful features.

The terminal has basic item sorting (Ammo, Explosives, Tools and Medical), an incinerator that will destroy all just items in your inventory and turn any metal based items into scrap metal. The terminal also includes a Wonder-Meat maker which will make the maximum amount with whatever Mole-Rat Meat and Wonder Glue you have in your inventory. It also has an ammo-press so you don't have to keep going back to The Pitt, although the ammo press section will be unavaliable until the main Pitt Quest has been completed. As for cosmetic changes to your character, the terminal has access to Race, Face and Hair adjustments.

A Bobblehead display is NOT INCLUDED as it did not fit with the background of the building and you most likely will have either the Megaton or Tenpenny houses anyway. Most areas have been left uncluttered so the user can decorate it themselves.

I have tried to make this as lore-friendly as possible while introducing a currently non-documented part of the Fallout Universe; Australia. Holotape notes can be found within the building explaining what the previous occupants were doing there. I have purposely kept some details vague in case some Australian lore does get released. I have tried to make the weapons and armor not too god-like but still powerful. I have based the CheyTac Intervention's (located in the locked basement) stats on the reservist rifle but if anyone thinks that it or any of the other items are too powerful just tell me and I will try to adjust it.

The Rooftop landing pad has been designed for use with the Personal Vertibird mod and the flood-lights are bright enough for Fellout Darker-Nights.

The location is in a vanilla building (modified slightly) located South-East of the Nuka-Cola Factory. It is right behind a raider spawn point but is far enough away that when fast-traveling to the location the raiders do not spot you. As an added bonus, when on the rooftop landing pad the raider spawn-point provides a great opportunity to practice long distance sniping (manual or with modded vats setup).

  • **ATTENTION!***
  • Due to a conflict with the gloves on the armor, you will need to be using the mod "Echo_UseYourGloves" ( found here: LINK ) to get the outfit to work properly! (thanks tobtrlgw for finding this out!)
