📋 About This Mod
Fallout3 Sleeping & Sleeping Bag Mod ------------------------------------ Version: 1. 02 Release: 12/23/2008 Author: Prarie WARNING: -------- It is highly recommended not to save/load games while sleeping when using this mod! Changes in 1. 02: ---------------- - made the mod more compatible by removing the vendor changes - the sleeping bag now adds automatically to the player\'s inventory when leaving vault 101 or loading a later save-game - the sleeping bag now is a non-removable quest-item Changes in 1. 01: ---------------- - fixed long idle time while sleeping for users playing with modded timescale Description: ------------ This mod revamps sleeping in Fallout 3 and adds a \"mobile bed\", the sleeping bag, to the game. Note that this is not a Need4Sleep mod like \"BasicNeeds\" or \"HungerThirstSleep\". It is based on the game\'s philosophy that you can restore health by sleeping but you don\'t have to. The mod includes english and german version. Basic changes: -------------- - Sleeping no longer heals cripples - Sleeping no longer restores full health in 1 hour - The player cannot set how long to sleep anymore Detail Changes: --------------- Provided you are tired enough (around 60% of max health, depends on endurance level) and there are no enemies around, you fall asleep by activating a bed or equipping the sleeping bag. You then sleep as long as your body needs for regeneration (expect around 6-8 hours). Effectiveness of sleeping (how much health will be restored) is based on the player\'s endurance level, sleeping comfort (bed, sleeping bag or both) and the current time of day (better sleep at night). Time of day in detail: ---------------------- While you are sleeping a time-of-day-check runs every 15 minutes eventually adding a penalty to your sleeping effectiveness. The time of day penalty levels are: - 12noon - 4pm (biggest penalty) - 10am-12noon & 4pm-6pm - 8am-10am & 6pm-8pm - 6am-8am & 8pm-10pm - 4am-6am & 10pm-12midnight - 12midnight - 4am (no penalty) New item: Sleeping bag (FormID 010a6f77) ---------------------------------------- The sleeping bag is defined as armor (looks like pyjama) and will automatically be added to the player\'s inventory when exiting vault 101 or loading up a later save-game. It is a non-removable quest-item. Provided there are no enemies around and you are tired enough, once you wear it (anywhere you want) and exit pipboy you will fall asleep. If you sleep in your bed you will automatically wear the sleeping bag for additional sleeping comfort. Original data that is changed: ------------------------------ - PlayerBedSCRIPT - CG TutorialCripple New data added: --------------- - SleepingBagScript - SleepingBag - SleepingBag (-10 perception while sleeping) - SleepingBagWakeUp - SleepingBagFallAsleep - SleepingBagInCombat - Sleeping
