Screwdriver Weapon

In the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the future survival usually means having a bigger gun than everyone else. At least, it helps. Sometimes however, size doesn\'t actually matter. Sometimes big is too much. Sure you can open a can of pork n\' beans with a 12 gauge, but it\'s less messy to just use a can opener. . . . And sometimes you realize that you shouldn\'t have traded your combat knife for jet to feed your addiction, and you find yourself in a room full of radroaches and ammo is getting scarce. You can\'t waste precious bullets on those little bastards, and you sold all of your sharp knives and blunt objects to that traveling merchant a few miles back. You could go bare knuckles, but then you\'ll get roach guts all over yourself, and there isn\'t a sink with clean, non-radioactive water in sight. . . If only you had something small and pointy that you could use to stab those roaches. Something that didn\'t weigh you down too much, and was easy to clean, and worked perfect for those pesky critters that aren\'t worth a bullet. Wait a minute, you have a screwdriver. You know, that one you\'re always using to open locks. That should work just fine. . . The purpose of this mod is to acknowledge the fact that the Lone Wanderer (Player Character) in Fallout 3 always carries a screwdriver. Though it has never appeared in the Player\'s inventory menu before, it can be seen every time you try to pick a lock. This mod enables the screwdriver to function not only as a tool, but also as a weapon. After the Screwdrivers.esp is activated, one screwdriver will be added automatically to your inventory in the \"Weapons\" category. This \"Default\" screwdriver is weaker than the kitchen knife so only use it against small enemies such as radroaches or bloatflies, or when you need to conserve ammo. This screwdriver is a quest item and can not be dropped or sold, and it has no weight. There are also three unique screwdriver weapons scattered across the wasteland. Each one has a unique texture and logo which is a parody of a famous tool manufacturer: There\'s Craftyman, Manley, and Snap-off. The locations of the three unique screwdrivers are listed at the bottom of the read me file. You can purchase regular screwdrivers from Moira Brown in Megaton, Seagrave Holmes in Rivet City, and Tulip in Underworld.
