Reload Ammo

Two versions are available now the ReloadAmmo.esp which will collect all shell casings, and the ReloadAmmoLight.esp in which shell casing collection is determined by the players luck skill. Only one or the other should be used, not both at the same time please.

This mod will keep track of your spent shells, and allow you to reload those shells when you have a Reload Box in your inventory. Currently Moira sells the Reload Boxes, but I may add them to other vendors if requested. Reload Boxes are relatively cheap compared to standard ammo, so depending on your repair skill, you can make enough to supply yourself, and sell the rest for profit.

Reloading can be done in the field, and doesn't require the use of any work benches or other static items. Simply drop a Reload Box from your inventory and activate it to begin reloading your shells. An intuitive menu system will display only the shells you have currently collected (collection is done automatically for you and stored in a hidden container) and present you with the options to reload 1, 10, 50, or 100 shells at a time, depending on how many shells collected. Cycling through the Exit buttons will put the Reload Box back into your inventory.

The number of reloads one box can provide is determined by the players repair skill. About 1000 per box being the maximum at 100 repair skill, and dropping 1 percent for every point decrease in repair skill. A player with a repair skill of 50 can expect to reload about 500 shells before the Reload Box is exhausted.

Added counters to the menus that display the number of reloads, and the number of shells remaining.

Fixed an issue where exhausting one ammo box, and quickly activating another would result in loosing both boxes

This update fixes an issue where selling, or dropping ammo would add to the shell count.

ReloadAmmoLight.esp version only

This is the light version, and the ammount of shells you collect is based on your luck stat. With a perfect 10 in luck you will collect about 50% of your shell casings, 5 in luck will net about a 25% collection rate.

This mod adds a lunchbox, which when activated, will let you reload bullet shells you have fired bullets from. A quest script runs in the back ground keeping track of how many bullets you fire, and adds the equal number of shells to a hidden container. Dropping the "Reload Box" from the misc. items menu will allow you to click on it and select the bullet type to reload (providing you have enough shells). E
