📋 About This Mod

A drastic overhaul of the game\'s various Weapon Damage values.

This Mod significantly re-balances the game\'s various weapons to be more \'realistic\'. I use that term loosely, as I have essentially no practical knowledge of firearms or munitions. There are four versions; one for the vanilla game, one for FOOK2, one for FWE, and one for FOOK+FWE. All versions have essentially identical damage values. The only difference is things like Repair Lists, Models, or Weapon Type changes (such as FWE turning the Reservist Rifle into a Laser Sniper). Weapons are much deadlier than in Vanilla and FOOK, or FWE, and should serve as a nice compliment to the enhanced enemies found in RWI. You can certainly use this without RWI though. Information on the alterations made follows: ------------------------------------------ Base Damage Formulae ------------------------------------------ Melee = ((durability / 10) + (Weight Reach)) TypeMod Melee, Auto = ((durability / 10) Reach) TypeMod Ranged = ((durability / 10) + (MaxRange / MinRange)) (AmmoMod + TypeMod) Ranged, Auto = ((durability / (10 + Fire Rate)) + (MaxRange / MinRange)) (AmmoMod + Typemod) Launcher = ((durability / 10) + (MaxRange / MinRange)) TypeMod Thrown = ((durability / 10) + (MaxRange / MinRange) + Weight) TypeMod ------------------------------------------ Formulae Variables ------------------------------------------ Ammo Mods: 5mm = 0. 5 . 32 = 1 . 45 = 1. 25 10mm = 1. 5 . 44 = 1. 75 5. 45 = 2 5. 56 = 2. 25 . 308 = 2. 5 7. 62 = 2. 75 8mm = 3 14mm = 3. 25 25mm = 3. 5 BBs = 1 Shell = 2 Needle = 0. 5 Dart = 1 Spike = 2 2mm EC = 3 Fuel = 1 EC Pack = 1 E Cell = 1 MF Cell = 1. 5 AP Mod = 2 AP Cell = 2. 5 Type Mods: Pistol = 0 Rifle = 1 Rifle, Sniper = 2 Heavy Weapon = 3 Shotgun, Class = 1 Shotgun, Mod = 2 Bio = 1 Laser = 1 Pulse = 1. 5 Ion = 2 Plasma = 2. 5 Alien = 3 Fire = 4 Pierce = 1 Slash = 1. 5 Blunt = 2 Low Chance = 1. 0, 1. 25, 1. 5, 1. 75 (5mm, . 32, 10mm, . 45 || Dart, Flame, Plasma || Blunt) Average Chance = 2. 0, 2. 25, 2. 5, 2. 75 (25mm, 14mm, 8mm, . 44 || Spike, Pulse, Ion || Slash) High Chance = 3. 0, 3. 25, 3. 5, 3. 75 (5. 45, 5. 56, . 308, 7. 62 || Needle, Laser, Gauss || Pierce) Low Damage = x1. 5 (5. 45, 5. 56, . 308, 7. 62 || Needle, Laser, Flame || Blunt) Average Damage = x2. 0 (5mm, 32, . 45, 10mm || Dart, Ion, Plasma || Slash) High Damage = x3. 0 (. 44, 8mm, 14mm, 25mm || Spike, Pulse, Gauss || Pierce)
