And all without having to change codecs or sound drivers like many fixes would have you do. Description This is a simple mod which tells the game to use .wav files instead of .mp3, as fallout appears to read mp3s inefficiently. The game comes with .wav versions of each song already so the only file you need is v0. 5 Radio Stutter fix, although this will only be in mono it is very small and easy. To get all the songs in stereo is simple though, just download my v0. 7 or v0. 8 Radio Stutter Fix, which comes with a guide that tells you how to unpack the songs and convert them into wav files. These files only fix radio stutter, not skipping. If you suffer from radio skipping, the most obvious difference being the lack of popping that is a characteristic of stutter, which is usually caused by running fallout 3 on a slow computer this will not fix your problem, only an upgrade to your system will fix this. If you are unsure then send me a message, and if you can produce a recording that would result in an easier diagnosis. By all means give this a try, but if it doesn\'t work then you know you suffer from skipping.
