📋 About This Mod
Adds a small player bunker in between Old Olney and Vault 92. Ideal for loners, people half the Wasteland want dead, or anyone who wants an alternative cozy underground home.
Current version: 1. 3. Finalized navmeshes, so followers should be able to enter now (read Bugs section for details). 1. 2: Anyone who\'s downloaded the previous versions, PLEASE get this new version - I only realized after replacing the door to the basement stairs in the house that it wouldn\'t open properly, so there was no way to access the bunker at all. I\'ve deleted the door now, so it should work fine. 1. 1: minor change that added a first aid kit graphic to the My First Infirmary. It just looked off without it there. Paranoid? Don\'t like the Megaton or Tenpenny homes/killed everyone in both cities and stole all their stuff? Want to live out in the middle of nowhere where nobody can find you? Well, then this is the house mod for you. I went with an underground bunker styled after the radio tower drainage chambers/sealed cisterns, but slightly larger. It\'s located in the basement of a ruined house in between Old Olney and Vault 92 - closer to the Vault 92 marker. You might need to shoot a deathclaw or two to get in, but hey, that\'s part of the appeal. They keep trespassers away, after all. The bunker includes: Personal bedroom with My First Infirmary, My First Laboratory, workbench, and attached bathroom Radiation-less sinks/toilet. Just pretend that big drum thingy in the main corridor is a water purifier. Kitchen/auxiliary living quarters with Nuka-Cola machine and access to a small armory room Lots of appropriately placed (player-owned) storage containers, some with random stuff in them - lockers, cabinets and boxes in the bedroom, fridges, lockers and an oven in the kitchen/living quarters, and gun cabinets/ammo boxes/armor lockers in the armory. There\'s also a whole bunch of shelves if you need to display stuff. No bobblehead display or jukebox. I figured this was more of a functional house instead of one meant to look pretty. The only real concession to aesthetics is the novelty giant Nuka-Cola bottle lamp. No smarmy robot butler. Sorry. This is my first mod, so bear with me. Feedback is appreciated. INSTRUCTIONS: Unzip the .rar, place the .esp file in Bethesda Softworks/Fallout 3/Data, start up Fallout 3, open up Data Files, check it, and run. Bugs: Companions don\'t follow you properly through the doors, even with finalized navmeshes and linked triangles. If they don\'t, just use the wait function to forward time for 1-2 hours and they should appear. Appears to have been more or less fixed in Broken Steel, though.
