Installation ============

First-Time Setup ---------------- If this is the first time you are trying to install a mod, you will need to configure your Fallout.ini file as follows:

The file is typically found in C:\Documents and Settings\YourID\My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Fallout.ini

Change From: bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 Change To: bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

Archive Invalidation -------------------- For texture replacers, you need to add the following list of files to your ArchiveInvalidation.txt

If not already there, create and edit <<Fallout3 Install Folder>>\ArchiveInvalidation.txt

Example: D:\Games\Fallout 3\ArchiveInvalidation.txt

File Extraction --------------- Extract the files of the mod to a temporary location.

Examine the contents of the mod and copy all the files and folders to Fallout3's Data folder.
