NCR Ranger Combat Armor in Outcast Bunker

This mod adds a set of NCR Ranger Combat Armor to the Outcast Bunker from Operation Anchorage along with a lore-friendly explanation for how the Outcast came to possess it.

Requires Operation Anchorage and Chuck Palomo's port of the armor called NCR Ranger Combat Armor. (Link below)

I really liked Chuck Palomo's original port, but I wasn't satisfied with the placement of the armor in Megaton's Armory.

I usually play friendly with Megaton, and I wanted a way to get the armor without breaking into the armory or using console commands.

This mod makes the armor part of the reward for Operation Anchorage. Since it wouldn't make sense for an armor with NCR post-war insignia to be in the sealed vault, the armor is in the VSS facility laboratory where you first meet Protector McGraw.

There is an Outcast "after action report" holotape nearby explaining how the Outcasts came to possess NCR armor.

IMPORTANT: Neither this mod nor Chuck Palomo's contain ANY meshes or textures for the armor.

You MUST have a legal copy of Fallout New Vegas and a way to extract those assets from the BSA. The original mod has instructions on how to do that, as does a helpful tutorial video made by lostangel. (Link below)

REQUIREMENTS: Operation Anchorage DLC, and NCR Ranger Combat Armor. (Link below)

INSTALLATION: (1.) Install Chuck Palomo's mod. Be careful to follow ALL instructions. (2.) Vortex users: Download this mod via vortex. Once vortex finishes downloading, hit "Install." Once it installs, hit "Enable." Double check that this mod's Plugin loads AFTER Chuck Palomo's Plugin. Manual Install: Download the Zip file and extract to your Data folder. Check the ESP in the mod manager of your choice and ensure it loads AFTER Chuck Palomo's ESP.

INCOMPATIBILITIES: Incompatible with anything that places an item on the counter in the VSS facility laboratory. I am not aware of any mods that do this, but if you find any reach out to me and I will note them on this page or create an alternate ESP.

I will be leaving permissions open on this mod. Feel free to use it as long as you credit me as the original author and Chuck Palomo as the author of the original port.

I thought it would be great to make a quest mod where you can meet and help or fight the ranger who originally owned this armor. Unfortunately, that's not something I have the skill to pull off or the time to learn how to. If anyone else wants to, feel free.
