The Quest to control which home decorations have been bought from Moira is a heavy papyrus construct that runs permanently, throughout the entire game, even when far away from Megaton. Such big Papyrus chunks bog the script engine down, bringing impairment to all other papyrus-based quests and world changes. This mod makes it so the script only ever fires once when exiting a trigger box in front of the Craterside Supply, and is dormant at all other times.

INSTALLATION

Use a mod manager. Needs the Updated Unofficial Patch.

You can install it mid-playthrough, even after already buying items for your house.

You should not uninstall it though, as the trigger box is (by engine requirement) a persistent reference. I believe that means it will be baked into your save, and should not be deleted mid-game. As no other object than my mod references it however, i don't expect the game to actually hick-up over uninstalling the mod. So technically...you still can uninstall. Just should not, you know..

Usually, you would buy a home deco tape from Moira, and carry it with you. I always drop them in my desk over in my Megaton home. You can drop them pretty much anywhere in the game world. However - you MUST not sell them back to Moira right after buying. You MUST enter your home once after buying new themes or decorations (workbench, jukebox etc.) in order for your purchase to register. This is the one and only drawback with this mod.
