NOTICE: This mod requires at least Version 1. 1 of Weapon Mod Kits, and by extension, Fallout Script Extender. FO3Edit is also required if you have any other WMK-modifying mods. A WMK-less variant is also available now. With this mod, there are now three grades of laser weapons, starting with Vanilla. Beyond that, there are Refurbished and Enclave grades. REFURBISHED: On a terminal in the Citadel, it mentions that all recovered instances of the AEP-7 and AER-9 are to be returned to the Citadel for refurbishment. These are the weapons that have undergone such. Their appearance is significantly more cleaned up, to look like they\'ve been given some care by a Scribe of the Sword, and then re-issued. The optics were also refurbished, and the beam has less of the \"scatter\" aura and a brighter central beam. The Brotherhood has these as standard issue, and they can also be liberated from the thieving deserters who stole them as well. Smuggler\'s End has such an appearance as well. ENCLAVE: The E-series of the laser weapons, consisting of the AEP-7E and the AER-9E. These boast a black casing, a little Enclave badge on the back housing cap, and a blue wavelength beam. These have further superiority stat-wise over even the Refurbs. You will find them wherever there is Enclave activity. Though obviously available only when the Enclave show up, you will be able to find a single instance of the AEP-7E pistol on the remains of an Enclave deserter who met an incendiary end... Colonel Autumn\'s Laser Pistol appears like this, and also retains its auto-fire capabilities and now goes by the name of \"AEP-7AX Automatic Laser Pistol\". STEALTH LASER The Enclave appear to have had a breakthrough with laser tech as well; a stealth laser. This laser uses a violet/ultraviolet wavelength (since UV is outside the visible spectrum), and has a revolutionary photonic suppressor to silence the muzzle flare and report. Its obvious perk is that it\'s a stealth energy weapon, unprecedented in that only small guns had such capability before. Its drawback is that the photonic suppressor requires as much energy to cool down as it takes to form the beam, which means every shot takes 2 E-cells, and it has a slower rate of fire. But you can\'t beat insta-hit potentially perfect accuracy. You will have an opportunity to acquire a field-issued production candidate prototype of this weapon.
