GNR Radio Replacer

This mod can be used in a couple different ways. I\'ve created blank music files for each song on the GNR station with their lengths in tact. You can either: 1.) Choose to replace these files with music of your own (make sure to retain the file names) or 2.) You can use the files as is. This option basically just allows you to play your own music (either through an outside program or through the background music of the game) while still being able to hear Three Dog and his news broadcasts. I kept the original song lengths simply so that those using the 2nd option don\'t have to hear the dj every 3 seconds. This mod is almost identical to the Enclave Radio Replacer by nulloperations. --------------------------------------------- Instructions: 1.) Extract all files to ... Fallout3/Data/sound/songs/radio/licensed/ If you don\'t have these folders in your Data folder, create them. 2.) If you haven\'t set this already, go to your Documents/My Games/Fallout3 folder and open Fallout.ini in notepad. Hit ctrl-F (find) and look for bInvalidateOlderFiles=0 Replace the 0 with a 1 and save. 3.) If you choose to replace these files with your own, save each song in each file format and keep the game file name. If you want a more authentic Fallout radio sound, make sure to change the songs into mono format for the mono versions. This way when the radio signal isn\'t coming through strongly, you\'ll hear the music shift around correctly. 4.) Open game, switch radio to GNR, and you\'re set. :) Note: ArchiveInvalidation.txt is not needed for replacing files. Simply setting bInvalidateOlderFiles to 1 tells the game to use the newest version of all files.
