Gauss Rifle Clip Size

Description ------------ As requested by GonZo_626 on the Bethesda forums. What this mod does is simple. It increases the clip size of the Gauss Rifle to 4, 10 or 20. This is my first mod, but I hope it\'s useful to someone. AP version ------------ This new alternative was added with version 1. 1 What it does is decrease the amount of AP (action points) the Gauss Rifle uses. Download this if you want my mod to do this. This is useful because the AP in the original game was optimized for only being able to fire one shot per clip. This will make you able to fire more shots. Installation ------------ 1. Extract the .zip file anywhere you want. 2. Move either the file Gauss_clip_size_4.esp, Gauss_clip_size_10.esp or Gauss_clip_size_20.esp to your Fallout 3\\Data folder. 3. Enable one of the ESP files in either FOMM or Fallout 3\'s launcher. PICK ONLY ONE! The numbers at the end represent how much the clip can hold. 4. Start up Fallout 3 and enjoy! Changelog ---------- v1. 0 - First version v1. 1 - Fixed the 4 rounds per clip version decreasing the amount of AP the Gauss Rifle uses. Made an alternative version that keeps this decrease. Known issues ------------ The mod may cause your game to CTD when you attempt to load your game or start a new game. Here\'s a fix that Daali found: \"Here was the fix that got all DLC mods working on my box: find the 3 files for the DLC(Anchorage.esm, Anchorage-Main.bsm Anchorage-Sounds.bsa) and copy them into the data folder like you would a mod, select it with FOMM like you would a mod, and viola!\" I already had the DLC files in my Data folder, which is why I didn\'t notice the problem myself. In case you didn\'t know, the DLC files are in: Windows XP: C:\\Documents And Settings\\username\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\Xlive\\DLC Windows Vista: C:\\Users\\username*\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\XLive\\ DLC\\425307d6�000002\\d96e635e19d298dac6820680085d 45c5d36b9130\\Content\\ The AppData folder is hidden, so make sure you set Windows to show hidden files in Folder Options. Customization ------------ If 4, 10 or 20 isn\'t the size you want, here\'s what you can do to edit the clip size to anything you want. Download my mod and extract it to the Fallout 3\\Data folder. Click on the + next to the name of my mod once it\'s all done loading. Click on the + next to \"Weapon\", and then you\'ll see two entries: DLC02WeapGaussRifle \"Gauss Rifle\" DLC02WeapGaussRifleWasteland \"Gauss Rifle\" You\'ll want to edit both of these. One changes the one inside the simulator, while one changes the one you can use out in the wasteland. Anyway, click on either one of them, and then look on the right side.
