FO3 Nexus Search Plugin

IMPORTANT: This is a major update of the plugin. If you downloaded and installed previous 0. 1b version for Firefox, consider it obsolete. Fallout 3 Nexus Database Search Plugin v1. 0 (tested on Firefox 3. 0. 10 and Internet Explorer 8) I did some research on the subject and here it is, an OpenSearch, UTF-8 formatted search plugin for both Firefox 2+ and Internet Explorer 7+. I\'ve added this to MyCroft OpenSearch Plugins database and it should be installed from there for full compatibility. More, if any changes will be made to this plugin in the future, updates will be submitted there, raw xml file is no longer available for download from Nexus. Search results: Basic search is performed through all categories by name entered, sorting results alphabetically, ascending. If you search with no criteria (type nothing in the search box, just press Enter), you\'ll be taken to Nexus Advanced Search form. Plugin/site search differences: The built-in Nexus search uses POST method, this plugin uses GET. Results are exactly the same, however, by searching the database using Nexus search engine you\'ll see \"http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/search.php\" URL in your browser while plugin search returns URL with parameters including search criteria, category selection and sorting method. Why the difference? I found in the documentation that IE7 doesn\'t support POST method, GET is compatible with most web-wide search engines and browsers. Therefore I figured that implemeting GET into the plugin will be a better solution to avoid problems.
