Hello! As of 2021/10/12, Fallout 3 on Steam has FINALLY been updated to remove Games for WIndows Live. What does that mean for this mod/fix? Well, a lot. Considering half of my fix involved GWL, I'd consider this obsolete. Instead, I'd recommend looking into other places for more modern day fixes to get Fallout 3 running and/or running better. I'm still keeping this page up however, more so as a nice keepsake for myself to be reminded that I was able to help a bunch of fellow Fallout fans. This is my only post to the Nexus (excluding a small companion mod I tinkered with for a time) and it really blew up. It makes me happy I was able to provide assistance to so many and to see the numbers this pulled. I understand some came for the fix and it didn't work, but that's the case for every fix as it just depends on your specific hardware/setups. But for those I could help, and those that endorsed and downloaded, thank you. I'm happy I was able to help!

TLDR; Look elsewhere for a more modern day fix to get your Fallout 3 working/running better.

After a brief hiatus from NexusMods due to new games they couldn't be modded having come back. I returned to see that this fix has almost reached 20k downloads and over 800 Endorsements. THANK YOU. This being really the only Mod/Fix I have on the Nexus it's amazing to see this has helped out so many. I must remind everyone that this is NOT a 100% Original fix by myself but rather a collection of fixes that I brought together that solves the majority of players issues. Regardless thank you for the support. A BIG reminder NOT to use this fix until testing if your FO3 can run without it. Also an extra fix has been sticky posted in the comments.

*****Ladies and Gentlemen I can gladly confirm this works on Windows 10 now. I apologize for now checking this earlier. Got caught up in Fallout 4. But it works without any changes so enjoy!
