DOF Fix (FOSE)

Description:

Based on WallSoGB's Depth of Field Fix - NVSE community, this mod fixes broken DOF in first person.

Player hands and weapon models render before depth of field leading to the DOF being applied in front of the player's hands/weapon instead of behind (see screenshots). With this mod, DOF renders before the player's model so that it is properly applied, no more broken visuals.

Additionally, it fixes washed out colors caused by low bit depth (see screenshots).

Highly recommend that you pair this with Drarack's Reload DOF found in his Reservoir of Mods 2 for some sweet visuals, it's what I used for my screenshots.

Install:

Install with MO2 and activate.

ChatSol 5. 6 was used, this is 100% vibecode. For those who don't support or agree with the use of AI I completely respect and understand you. All credit goes to the mentioned above, without their work I wouldn't have the source to bring this to Fallout 3. I encourage you to download and endorse their versions as well, doesn't take much to do it and shows support for their hard work. With that being said, don't bother them with issues you might encounter, post it here.

With any and all releases in which I use AI, there will be no DP enabled. I am a supporter of real 100% user end work and always will be.
