📋 About This Mod

Changes the rad protection on Radiation suits to better reflect their capabilities.

Name: DN - Radical Rad Protection Version: 1. 2 Date: 12/11/2008 Category: Gameplay Effects and Changes Author(s): DreadNaught (Arklite) Source: Description =========== Basically, upon some discussions on the Fallout 3 modding channel on IRC I came to the conclusion that radiation suits should protect flawlessly against radiation poisoning. So, with that said... Rad suits now properly protect against all sources of radiation poisoning. Details ======= I have changed the maximum amount of rad/damage resistance to 100. Both radiation suits have had their radiation resistance greatly increased. The regular radiation suit now gives 85% resistance and the advanced radiation suit now gives 100% resistance. Install ======= 1. Copy the DN_RadicalRadSuits.esp file to (install folder)\\Fallout 3\\Data\\ 2. Start FOMM and place a checkmark beside the .esp file(s). 3. Delete the original DN_RadicalRadProtection.esp to avoid conflicts. Uninstall ========= 1. Start FOMM and uncheck the .esp file(s). 2. Delete the DN_RadicalRadSuits.esp file from \\Fallout 3\\Data\\ Incompatibility =============== None that I know of. Probably not a good idea to use with any other mod that changes the cap on rad/dmg resistance OR the radiation suits\' resistance. Known Issues or Bugs ==================== None that I know of. Testing needed. History ======= 12/15/08: v1. 2 Released - Fixed the rad values on Radiation Suit (Now 85) and Environment Suit (100). Max resistance raised to 100. 12/11/08: v1. 1 Fix released. 11/17/08: v1. 0 Released. Contact ======= You may contact me on IRC by connecting to irc.quakenet.org and entering the channel #fallout3modding where I am known as DreadNaught. On the Bethsoft forums, I\'m known as Arklite. On the Nexus Forums I am known as BloodFeign. Credits ======= Thanks to Rheikon for helping me figure out the GMST/IDs and values for the rad resistance and suits as well as helping me figure out how to use TESsnip. Thanks to Neclipse for various pieces of advice regarding the GMSTs/IDs and values. Thanks to Rane for testing out the EDID for the max resistance. Thanks to the creator(s) of FOMM and TESsnip (Fallout 3 Edition). Thanks to Bethesda for creating Fallout 3 and the G. E. C. K.. Tools Used ========== TESsnip - http://timeslip.chorrol.com/TESsnip.html Readme Generator - http://lhammonds.game-host.org/obmm/tools_readme_generator1.asp Licensing/Legal =============== You can do whatever you want with this mod but all I ask in return is that you give me credit if you distribute any part of this mod.
