📋 About This Mod
Name: Bunkers, Barricades, and Shelters Author: cpocurtis Version: 2. 0 BETA Date: 6/29/2010 Cateogry: Utilities Link: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Bethsoft_Tutorial_Static_Collections =============== NEW IN VERSION 2! =============== Version 2 includes 12 new structures, one complete \'tileset,\' and 9 individual wall, door, and window pieces for faster custom structure creation, along with the original 18 SCOL\'s from Version 1! The \'tileset\' is named WoodHallwayXXX. (XXX being the invidual editor ID for each piece.) The hallway tileset is easier to put together than anything in vanilla Fallout 3. Each piece, or section, is competely independant from the others. Meaning you do not need to use \"Endpieces.\" They were made with \"Snap To Angle\" in mind, with several straight hallway pieces, and 45 and 90 degree angles. They are easy to place since nothing needs to go together pefectly, and the ends of each section were created with ease and simplicity in mind. Also, all new completed structures fit prefectly with the hallway section in both building style and size. Lighting has been added to the TestCell for your comfort and a more enjoyable visit. The layout and spacing of the displays has also been improved. =============== Description: =============== This is a modder\'s resource, but it adds no new meshes or textures. If you know anything about Static Collections, then you will probably understand how to use this. If not, then I encourage you to check to the link above. Basically, a Static Collection is a group of meshes, let\'s say a couple sandbag bunkers, that are put together in the GECK. There are no new meshes created, but they are simply put together into one group, or Static Collection (SCOL). This SCOL acts as one mesh, uses one texture, and can be taken apart as easily as it was put together. This mod adds 39 SCOL\'s in an interior cell called \"00SCOLCell.\" I placed them in the cell on pavement planes so that you can walk around ingame and take a look before you decide to start modding with them. The cell can be reached through a door near the outer wall of the Citadel (see screenshot). =============== HOW TO! =============== Using this resource is simpler than using those that add totally new meshes. Simply click on this mod in the \"DATA\" popup in the GECK when you load your mod. Once it is finished loading, Enter the intior cell \"00SCOLCellDUPLICATE,\" which sould be at or near the top tof the cell view list. Find which bunker, barricade, or shelter you wish to use, click it, and use CTRL + C to copy the SCOL. Once this is done, find where you want ot put it, and use CTRL + V to paste it in your cell. These SCOL\'s are made for flat surfaces, so if you are placing them on uneven ground, you will need to take them apart to adjust them. With the SCOL selected, press CTRL + G and choose \"Yes\" to the popup. The individual elements of t
