BB Gun to Airsoft HK33A2 Rifle

Just a simple mod I came up with. Initially I was using a mod to change the BB Gun into a . 22LR. When the rimfire snubbie came out, I ended up making one version a . 22CB (. 22 Cap & Ball - basically just a primer cap that fires a simple cone or ball) snubbie, and the common one the . 22LR revolver, using the CALIBR library. I became dissatisfied with this approach, because the BB gun doesn\'t eject shells, and even primer caps have to go somewhere. Then I had a lightbulb come on - your Dad\'s been around. He\'s not a user of assault rifles himself - all he keeps around is a . 32 S&W snubbie and an old Wattz 2000 laser rifle shoved under a random rock. But he knows that if you\'re a fighter, an airsoft trainer of a common Wasteland rifle might be a good idea. And well, he found a damaged one lying around, along with a broken HK33A2. So he swaps the gearbox and other bits from the airsoft rifle into the real-steel HK33A2, swipes some springs from Butch\'s switchblade to get the trigger to feel right (and work in the first place), and presents you with your very own Classic Marines HK33A2 Trainer Rifle, just like the ones we used to kick the Reds out of Alaska! (Small energy cells and BBs not included) So now you have your very own airsoft copy of a HK33A2 lying on your desk, along with 50 BBs. Also, you have a box full of BBs in your dresser drawer. Enjoy! Some stats: 1x crit multiplier 2dmg + 4crit 250-round magazine Repairs using assault rifle repair list Still uses BBs Fully automatic Fire rate just like the real thing (in FO3, anyway) Sounds like a BB gun (but with no cocking sound, as far as I can tell), including silent sound tag. Balance: I wouldn\'t worry about it. While you can slay radroaches with only a few bursts, it took me over 200 BBs to dispose of the final two Vault guards from a full magazine. You could probably sell the ammo for a decent bit - clean, round metal is always handy for reloaders and even people foolish enough to think an airsoft will give them any real protection. Or you could give it to a follower as a last-resort weapon, assuming you\'re using mods that strip them of all their hidden weapons. :) NOTE: I didn\'t replace the Black Bart\'s Bane. That rifle is still a lever-action air rifle, using BBs. And the Classic Weapons Compilation\'s Red Ryder LE BB gun isn\'t replaced either - you might want to save your BBs for that. Possible conflicts: I can\'t test it with a new game, sorry. Somebody should check the 10-year-old part of chargen to make sure I did the replacing right. Also, I touched the CG04 player chest drawer. You\'re going to have to merge it with mods that also put stuff in that drawer, like the rimfire revolver and scalpel mods.
