A Devilish Mod WIP ================== ----------------------------------- I\'ve now uploaded the devil character for New Vegas. Anyone interested can get it from here: NV Devil WIP http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38388 ----------------------------------- This mod allows you to play as a red devil (primarily female), as well as adding a devil-child companion and a new level to look at. Various other additions/modifications/content is also included. Added content includes a modest suburban player house, modified railway rifle with red-hot spikes that set your enemy briefly on fire, a plasma pistol with a scope (as well as two child versions of the pistols), new food items, a pip-boy 3666, a new shopping experience, as well as of course new outfits and variations for devils to wear. Before we go further: There are well over EIGHT HUNDRED files in this mod, and REAMS of code touching on almost every aspect of the game, so it will never be perfect. On top of this I have not had much time to devote to this work, so I have done everything VERY quickly. Which means it just cannot be perfect, assuming I even could ever make it so. All that said, I am not aware at the time of writing this of any serious problems at all. This really just started with me thinking about what it would take for me to play the game from the start again. For me, I would like something a little different, like playing as a different character, with uniquie strengths and weaknesses I had to cater for. I would want something different to look at too, some new content, to be able to move around the wasteland a bit quicker, have some modded weapons with a little more omph earlier on, a new companion who had more features, etc etc. I also wanted to create some more feminine vault outfits, any man who thinks women are going to agree to wear coveralls for their entire lives has suffered a blow to the head. Anyway, I started playing with the idea of creating a sexy red devil body base, who was at the same time strangley lore-friendly. In the end it was just me playing around in Blender, the G. E. C. K., NifScope, GIMP etc. I have made the tail and horns a separate mesh because it was easier to work with them this way. I have moved the neck seam, as I felt it looked better broken up a bit. I have \"creatively\" bone-weighted the tails, but as there are no tails on humans there is only so much I can do. The skeletal bones and animation just aren\'t there, and I\'m obviously not redoing the base skeleton and every animation myself. User Guide and Information ========================== General ======= The game doesn\'t particularly like me mixing the furniture position references on the sofa. For this reason, it can tend to default to sleeping on the sofa when you click it. The trick is to aim your cursor near the very ends to get the sitting references only. I like the sleep-on-sofa thing, it looks good when you leave followers at home. T
