Fallout 2 HD WideScreen Fix

Mod was Created in order to provide good config, i mentioned i will be searching for such thing

and out of lack of the better ways i ended up making one myself

This mod let you experience Borderless Fallout 2 with none of the exploits removed

• []1920x1080 default resolution support - feel free to change if you need

  []UI Scale 2x

  []Safe Alt+tabbing (you can do it and go back to the fallout window like civilized person)

  []Hi-rez support

  []Infinite Scroll distance

  []Scroll beyond map borders - godsend feature for me

  []Sfall support - its also Relay on Sfall DXdraw files for some of the features

  []Works nicely with OBS, however i never had issues with OBS - Classic Fallouts

  []Made on top of Gog Version of Fallout 2 (can't promise if it will work with steam, i hope it will, but please don't be angry if you experience minor issues)

Requirements:

• []You need legal Copy of Fallout 2, preferably Patched to the version 1. 02 (official)

  []You need Sfall installed on top of your Fallout exe

• []Take 2 files from .zip folder and drop on top of Fallout 2.exe localization

  []Replace 2 files when asked and hope for the best :)

  []have fun!

• []Menu options off-center (only if launched with Hi-rez exe)

  []You can see NPCes being outside of the map border, if you could not find character in vanilla game, he could be hiding there all this time xD

  []Can go out of bounce and use it in some maps - i find it amazing - i was able to bypass any combat in klamath and get fuel regulator for highwayman which feels good, but i understand if some people would not like it

  []no Rage Quit support (Alt + F4 does not instantly quit the game)

Big exploit found:

• []Player can find the places where they can leave borders of the map and get to NPC Shop Chest i consider it to be transparent exploit

  []Might help people in critical situations find lost/stolen quest items

  []Person using this exploit to gain advantage knows he is doing that and its most likely their choice

• i will work on a optional version of the mod restrained by map borders to prevent this
