There are smarter people than I in the Nexus universe. If you think I've done something wrong, please let me know what it is and how to correct it.

My RIG:

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 6-core processor, RTX 3070 8GB, 32GB DDR4 RAM, M. 2 SSD, 32-inch 2560x1440 monitor.

I play FO4 at 2560x1440 on ULTRA: no ENB, maybe with CLIKRAD Reshade - STALKER vibes.

I have the AE version of the game.

ZP's Sounds for the Wasteland:

The mod adds 249ish new ambient sounds to the Commonwealth. These include some vanilla sounds, a mix of vanilla sounds, and entirely new audio elements. 26 vanilla sounds were altered for a better atmosphere.

Commonwealth:

- daytime and nighttime birds, crickets, various insects, the desperate screams of the unfortunate, Ferals, dogs, various sounds for Diamond City and Goodneighbor, sounds for the burned forest, the swamp, and the Glowing Sea.

Far Harbor:

- howling wolves, the sounds of the forest, distant screams of the mutated creatures and something watching you from the fog.

Nuka World:

- distant screams of mutated creatures, worms crawling under your feet.

The number of sounds is larger because the mod also uses many vanilla sounds. Some sounds are also used in multiple places.

I tried to make sure the sounds weren’t intrusive or repetitive, but whether I succeeded is something you’ll have to decide for yourselves. I’d also like to ask for your feedback, because I can’t test this mod thoroughly on my own, that would take too much time. Over time, I’ll adjust and expand the mod based on REASONABLE and lore-friendly suggestions. If you have an idea, write what sound it should be, where the player should hear it, and when (day/night).

- April 14, 2026 OPTIONAL NO BIRDS UPLOAD - the mod does not contain any extra bird sounds. The mod is made for ZP's Bird Purge mod, which removes all birds and bird sounds. If you want to use this, uninstall the main mod first.

- April 15, 2026 UPDATE - ZPs Sounds for the Wasteland UPDATE 01 - you need the ZPs Sounds for the Wasteland main file for this, let the update overwrite all the necessary files.
