Don’t you get bored when life hands you everything on a silver platter? Want to feel like a true collector? That’s where Hunt for Holotapes comes in! I’ve added holotapes from several of my favorite VotW add-ons into the Leveled Lists, so now you’ll need to put in some effort to find these holotapes. They can now rarely be found in various containers, as well as in the pocketses of feral ghouls, raiders, gunners, pre-war safes, pre-war trunks, suitcases, and even in the stomachs of certain creatures (they probably ate some other collector or something).

Are you going crazy because you can’t find that one holotape you want the most? Worry no more! Be sure to search all trash cans and bins you come across, because there might be a broken holotape that you can fix if you find enough to combine them into one! Holotape parts can be found in various places (similar to the holotapes, excluding NPCs), mostly in various trash containers.

Do you have drawers full of duplicate holotapes and are you mad that no vendor will buy them? Scream in frustration no more! Boil 'em, scrap 'em, stick 'em in a stew! Holotapes are now scrappable in the Videos of the Wasteland Workbench under SCRAP HOLOTAPE (the recipe will only appear for tapes currently in your inventory). You get Holotape parts, you get Holotape parts—everybody gets Holotape parts!

Do you want a “search all over the place” experience? Now you can! With the help of powerofthree's Base Object Swapper, holotapes can now rarely appear anywhere you might find ashtrays, empty beer bottles, and coffee cups lying around. This feature is optional.

Version 3. 3 adds support for more add-ons.

Version 3. 2 adds holotape scrapping feature (thanks to amazing Qrsr)! The scrapping is done through Videos of the Wasteland Workbench (SCRAP HOLOTAPE section will appear for the holotapes you have in your inventory). 1 holotape will scrap into 1 Holotape parts (which can be scrapped further into circuitry or used for crafting holotapes). Also I decided to discontinue support for The Thing from Another World ESP (so only ESL will be supported). Fixed FOMOD that would not autodetect correctly one of the addons. Should be safe to update.

Version 3. 1 adds support for more add-ons. Drop chances have also been lowered even further, as the current state was not what I originally intended for this mod. Check the list of supported add-ons below for the full details.
