Vaultman - Enemies and Bosses overhauls Fallout 4's enemy and boss encounters, adding named bosses, faction leaders, and tougher variants of creatures like deathclaws and behemoths. Enemies scale with the player, gain health bonuses, and have varying cripple immunity. It's designed for compatibility with most mods, with load order advice provided.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-trusted with 296 endorsements and over 23k downloads.
- Targets a wide range of enemies, from faction leaders to fog crawlers, so you'll see changes across the wasteland.
- Scaling and health bonuses mean fights stay challenging even at high levels.
⚠️ Cons
- No explicit install instructions or requirements listed—you're on your own for setup.
- Last updated in December 2024, so it might not be fully tested with the latest game patches or DLC.
- Compatibility is 'most mods' but not guaranteed; you may need to tweak load order yourself.
For Fallout 4 players who want tougher, more varied enemy encounters without overhauling the whole game. If you're tired of one-shotting deathclaws and want bosses that feel like bosses, this is for you. Skip if you prefer a more casual experience or want a full gameplay overhaul.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you use other enemy mods, load Vaultman after them to ensure its changes take priority.
- Check the mod's comments section for any known conflicts with popular overhauls like Beantown Interiors or Sim Settlements.
- Start a new game or load a save before entering a heavily populated area to avoid spawning issues.
