Unzippable Vault Suit with CC Customization Integration

Zipper Modification

Unzipping a Vault Jumpsuit at armor workbenches trades 10 Rad Resistance and 5 Energy Resistance for 2 Charisma.

The unzipped meshes are relatively modest and not wide open.

CC Vault Suit Customization Integration

All Vault Suits are equipped with appropriate color (clean/dirty) and number modification from Vault Suit Customization, instead of relying on the vanilla material swaps.

It also means your vault suit will keep its number and color when zipping and unzipping.

NPC Outfits

I changed the outfit of a limited selection of Vault 81 NPCs so they wear an unzipped vault suit, namely Trader Kylee, Overseer Gwen McNamara, Katy Pinn and Holt Combes.

Calvin Whitaker wears a Utility Jumpsuit.

Additional Features

Vault Suits and Utility Vault Suits have a legendary attachment point that can be used with any legendary crafting/modification mod. No such mod is required if you don't want the added Legendary attachment points.

Vault Suits can be attached a Ballistic Weave. (Utility Vault Suits already could)

The plugin is an esl-flagged esp.

My screenshots show a clear view of the items due to using Crafting Highlight Fix.

Compatibility

This mod is fully compatible with my other mod Clothes Customization and Cleanliness. Just make sure UnzippableVaultSuit.esp is after CleanableClothes.esp in your load order.

Other mods that make changes to the vault suits armor records might not be compatible.

If you use the UFO4P, my mod makes the armor addons and material swaps from the unofficial patch unnecessary by relying on CC Vault Suit Customization. There is no need to patch it for compatibility, it works as intended with or without UFO4P.

If you want to use a different unzipped mesh from another mod, just name it VaultSuitUnzippedF.nif for the female one or VaultSuitUnzippedM.nif for the male one, and replace my files in "meshes/clothes/vault111suit/", so it will work with my armor workbench zipper modification.

Installation

The FOMOD installer provides two options:

- Vanilla: Install both female and male unzipped vanilla meshes.

- CBBE Reduced: (Requires CBBE) Install the female unzip
