Unique NPCs - An Overhaul of the Commonwealth

Wonder why so many of the NPC's in Fallout 4 are forgettable?

Its because they are all nearly identical..

The NPC's are one of the least developed and yet most frequently interacted with features of the game.

Most factions (With the exception of the Raiders) have 6+/- Male faces in the pool they pull from, less than that for women (Average of 3).

Add in the fact nearly all the NPC's are "Generic" when it comes to the body profile they use (Middle triangle and no added morphing) they are all identical.

This sets out to change that.

I endeavor to create the illusion of variety by expanding the pool of actors by a Factor of X and adding some new randomness to the game by introducing......

-More than 300 Skin Texture set combos (Thanks to Dozens of contributors, and a special shout out to HeavensThere);

-Nearly 3,000 NPC bodies and faces, many are new, some you've seen, thanks to several authors;

-An insane amount of hand edits to their "Morphology" (See the Article coming soon, could not start until published);

-Completely New parallel NPC "tree" to give gender parity (See the Article coming soon, could not start until published);

-Split Gender Outfit tables; (Works, mostly, having some issues at the LVLActor Table, *coming soon, could not start until published)

-Names Every Settler, Uniquely, As added in. (Better Settlers Patch not yet renamed Took better than 20 hours to bring Better Settlers in line, but it's done. Versions for 2.x and 1. 1x)

-Creates a Framework for people to expand (Skins and races), add gender based outfits, etc. (Hubris I know).

Call it my White Whale...

Everyone kept talking about Races and how it was lacking compared to Skyrim..

I didn't really play Skyrim but saw right away how that would be amazing for FO4.

The idea stuck and I could not shake it.

Working on Raider Overhaul I got to help add some "Color" to the world I love,

and it helped, but still I wanted even more variety.

It's taken more than 6 months, more hours than I want to admit to myself (and my

family), allot of trial & error, learning, and advice from authors,

in the end here we are.

What's the Catch, right?

None, it might require a little more work from you, but I've spent allot of time testing this.
