📋 About This Mod

Adds headlamp option to the medium and heavy variants of the MK2 combat helmet.

The plugin has ESL flag. It includes overrides of two Object Mods from the original mod's plugin. The nifs of medium and heavy helmet were edited, to add attach point for the headlamp effects. Also, as of v1. 1, includes override of the the Armor records of the helmet, to have the default headlamp selected, when the helmet spawns in medium/heavy variant.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Tiny patch that does exactly what it says—no bloat.
  • Handy for dark dungeons or night exploration without losing armor stats.
  • Recent update (Feb 2026) shows the author is still around.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only affects two helmet variants—if you use light armor, this is useless.
  • Requires Tumbajamba's Combat Armor as a base, so it's not standalone.
  • Low endorsement count (46) means it's not widely tested—might have hidden quirks.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who use Tumbajamba's Combat Armor and want a practical headlamp on their medium or heavy helmets. It's a quality-of-life tweak for night-time adventurers. Skip if you don't use that armor mod or prefer light helmets.
