📋 About This Mod
Slows Fallout 4 leveling. Late game levels are slower than vanilla, and each level requires more XP than the last.
XP SCALING
Vanilla Fallout 4 levels too fast. This mod changes the XP curve. Early levels are slower, and the gap grows as you progress. Leveling feels earned, and high-level perks take real effort.
CHANGES
Replaces the vanilla XP curve. Use iXPBase = 40 and iXPBumpBase = 160 for perfect progression. ESL and script-free, safe for Survival mode.
Vanilla Fallout 4 only increases the XP requirement by +75 each level. For example, if level 1 → 2 requires 200 XP, then level 2 → 3 requires 275 XP, then 350, and so on.
In this mod, the increase is +160 XP per level instead. That means level 1 → 2 requires 200 XP, but level 2 → 3 requires 360 XP, then 520, and so on. This makes leveling slower overall and progression feel more earned.
COMPATIBILITY
Only one XP curve mod at a time. Works with Survival mode and long-term playthroughs.
INSTALLATION
Install as an ESL. Make sure no other XP curve mods are active. Works immediately on new or existing playthroughs.
