📋 About This Mod
Minor edits to fix the missing audio when wielding a revolver in third person. This restores the sound effects for reloading and cocking the hammer of the Pipe Revolver and . 44 Pistol, as well as any other weapons which use their animations (e.g. Nuka World's Western Revolver, or skibadaa's . 223 Revolver). Also has a similar fix for missing reload sounds with the Submachine gun and any inheriting weapons in third person (which for some reason only happened in Power Armor).
It was bugging me so I tracked it down; apparently during development the file naming convention changed from "WPNPistol44mag" to WPNPistolFortyFour" and wasn't updated in some animation files.
Contains: One ESP, no possible compatibility issues.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved fix with 674 endorsements and over 16k downloads.
- Targets a specific annoyance that many players encounter in third-person mode.
- Lightweight and focused—doesn't touch anything else, so low risk of conflicts.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2016—may not be compatible with the latest Fallout 4 patches or DLC.
- Only addresses audio for revolvers and SMGs in Power Armor; other third-person audio issues remain.
For Fallout 4 players who frequently use third-person view and are bothered by missing gun sounds. If you're a completionist who wants every audio detail polished, this is a must-have. Skip if you play mostly in first person or don't use Power Armor with SMGs.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Install with a mod manager like Nexus Mods' Vortex to keep your load order clean.
- If you're on PC, make sure you have the game's script extender (F4SE) if required by other mods, though this one likely doesn't need it.
- Test in third person with a revolver and in Power Armor with an SMG to confirm the fix works.
