📋 About This Mod
This mod adds new variants of the
Private Military Company
vest with some immersive and handy customization options, and provides some constructible mashup clothing/armors of the PMC vest with some of my favorite items from
The Mercenary
mod by L0rd0fWar.
They incorporate the customization options from PMC Extended and the material customization options from The Mercenary Tex Edits mod.
Naturally this mod is dependent on these mods (and the resources they are dependent on), but these are great mods and well worth it in themselves. Also users of these mods are likely to be using them already. See the Required Mods list, please.
To be sure, I confirmed permissions with the original mod authors, via L0rd0fWar's general mashup permission given on their mod page and with confirmation through Gambit77 on behalf of L0rd0fWar, and from EvTital for the PMC mods.
The new items are:
- 2 new PMC Vest armors with the color swaps from the original mod as well as PMC Extended, AND now also:
Stimpak and Radaway on the vest with auto-function option
Functional Stealthboy
Medkit that can give you Medic perks
Toolkit that can give you Locksmith and Scrapper perks
Communications kit that can give you Local Leader and Inspirational perks
Functional pistol holster on the chest
Additional morale patch options
A Pip-Pad conveniently hung on the vest, for easy access, for those that use it
Lore-friendly ammo magazines in the mag pouches
Usable pistol holster on the side
- Customized The Rebel Jacket outfit:
Pistol holster added to left side that matches the PMC vest holster
Usable pistol holder on the right thigh
Right shoulder mesh tweaked to reduce clipping with many weapon stocks
Bags and pouches tweaked/shrunk
Optional left sleeve modification to accommodate Pip Boy
Customization options consistent with the vest mods
- Customized Rebel Shirt and Mercenary Shirt outfits:
Can be worn under any torso armor of your choice
- Combination Rebel/Merc Shirt and PMC Vest outfits:

This mod merges outfits from The Mercenary and PMC mods into constructible, customizable armor combos with lore-friendly tweaks and character benefits. It's for Fallout 4 players who want more gear variety without straying from the game's setting. With 132 endorsements and 5,128 downloads, it's a niche but appreciated addition.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Decent community traction with 132 endorsements and over 5k downloads
- Combines two popular mods for unique gear mashups
- Lore-friendly customization keeps the game immersive
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2022, so may have compatibility issues with newer game patches
- Requires two other mods to work, adding setup complexity
- Potential conflicts with other armor mods that alter the same outfits
For Fallout 4 players who love The Mercenary and PMC mods and want more armor variety. If you're into lore-friendly gear that gives gameplay perks, this is a solid pick. Skip if you prefer standalone armor mods without dependency chains.
💡 Beginner Tips

- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to handle the dependencies and avoid overwriting files.
- Check the in-game crafting bench to see the new armor combinations and their stats before crafting.
