📋 About This Mod
The Machine and Her is a great mod, but it doesn’t include player voice lines.This add-on gives male and female fully voiced dialogue with matching lip files, made upon request.
This mod includes the same features as the XDI Patch for The Machine and Her, but it is not compatible with the XDI Patch itself.
Since voiced dialogue required adjustments to several quest dialogue conditions, this version already integrates all XDI Patch functions.
I’ve noticed some people getting upset about the use of AI voices recently, and I just want to clarify something.
I used to generate voices with XVA Synth, and no one ever complained about it — even though it’s also an AI-based tool. For example, the Point Lookout mod used similar technology, and as far as I know, nobody blamed the author for it.
Now that modern AI tools sound more realistic, suddenly it becomes a big issue. I find that quite interesting, honestly.
At the end of the day, both are still AI tools — one just happens to sound more natural than the other.
If you dislike AI voice generator tools, then simply don’t use this mod.
If you don’t mind them, just enjoy it!
