📋 About This Mod
Upon completing the "Taking Independence" quest, a small number of generic Minutemen spawn at the Castle and become permanent residents (i.e., they cannot be moved to other settlements). However, if a recruitment beacon is set up thereafter, it will spawn common settlers. Functioning in the same manner as The Slog Spawns Ghoul Settlers, The Castle Spawns Minutemen Settlers ensures that a recruitment beacon at the Castle will always spawn Minutemen, although common settlers can be moved there. Furthermore, these Minutemen can be moved to other settlements, if desired.
Compatibility
This mod employs a customized duplicate of LvlMinutemanWorkshop to spawn generic Minutemen from LCharMinutemenFaces. Mods that apply changes to the vanilla LvlMinutemanWorkshop record will not pass those changes on to the Minutemen spawned by this mod, but mods that alter the records contained within LCharMinutemenFaces will carry over. Otherwise, this mod should work with anything that doesn't alter the Castle's workshop reference (00066EB6).

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Lore-friendly: The Castle is the Minutemen's headquarters, so having Minutemen settlers makes perfect sense.
- Lightweight and simple—does exactly what it says without bloat.
- Community-approved with 345 endorsements and over 20k downloads.
⚠️ Cons
- Only affects the Castle—if you wanted Minutemen in other settlements, this won't help.
- Requires the recruitment beacon to be built first, so it's not immediate.
For Fallout 4 players who role-play as the Minutemen and want their Castle to feel like a real military base. Also great for settlement builders who want a consistent theme. Skip if you're not into settlement management or want broader changes.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you've built a recruitment beacon at the Castle before expecting Minutemen to show up.
- If you use other settlement mods, test this mod early to ensure no conflicts with spawn lists.
- This mod is purely cosmetic in function—it doesn't add new Minutemen types, just changes who spawns.
