and something serious..... I want to inform you all that i am having some serious problems and cannot be online all the time as before . I will explain to clarify the situation. As ive said in the past im unemployed for over 2 years now and the s.h.i.t. finally hit the fan.
As of 12/12/2016 my home has no power because i couldnt keep up with the bills . I have moved my main rig to my brother-in -law's business location where i spend most of my day since home is an icebox.
You may have also noticed that i am adding a donation button and its obviously NOT to make a profit but to help me get some essential stuff like a wood stove and a small electrical generator to cover my basic needs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Salem.. Who hasnt heard of it ?? Well for those that havent its a small town/city that has long roots in history.. Things like "witchcraft,burning at the stake,inquisitions etc.. are tied to this Town's name .
Truth is those above mentioned things lasted a very small period in time yet people seem to remember them well thanks to books and movies.
When i first found Salem in this game i was greatly disappointed to see a few houses and businesses that hardly resemble the actual town that is known for its unique architecture and furniture designs. Its also known for its very big harbor .
If i wanted to do an actual Salem or at least something closer to the real thing i would have to expand it past Kingsport lighthouse and the game certainly wont allow that :P . So i did the best i could in this limited space with very limited resources.
The reason for the warning above is because Bethesda did some very weird S.. T to this location and it took me 2 days AFTER completing the build to get it to function as a settlement . It seems like the whole area is covered by one "umbrella" type map marker and under it we find other markers like Salem. Barney's bunker,the resting home etc. Those that do location mods know that this means TROUBLE . <
