📋 About This Mod

Hi there! 👋

This is a simple sorting mod that doesn't require any complicated setup or F4SE for some popular mods and does the following:

  • []Sorts various mods in the APPAREL and MISC section of the Pipboy with a '-' prefix, which will still sort below any items with a '( )' prefix, but above regularly named items.

[]Reorganizes various mods in the Chem Workbench: renaming and condensing mod categories, and moving some items out of the UTILITY category into new custom categories.

You have the choice of an All-In-One version or individual patches. All ESP's flagged as ESL.

    Have fun! 😊

    PATCHES:

    • []All-In-One (includes all patches including Sort Some Stuff - Base)

    • []Sort Some Stuff - Base (included in All-In-One) - required for some patches to have new categories

Individual patches (these don't require Sort Some Stuff - Base):

      • []Campsite - adds a '-' prefix to each 'Campsite' item name in the MISC menu

[]CigaretteInMouth - adds a '-' prefix to all CigaretteInMouth APPAREL items

[]Dogmeat Helmets and Hats - renames category to 'APPAREL - DOGMEAT'

[]Grease Rat Garbs - renames category to 'APPAREL - GREASE RAT'

[]Mutant Menagerie - Life Finds A Way - removes 'QUANTUM FLUX' category and move this item into the UTILITY category. Does not alter the COMPENDIUM category.

[]NCR Outfit Pack - renames category to 'APPAREL - NCR'

Patches requiring Sort Some Stuff - Base for new/modified categories:

        • []Church of Atom Overhaul - renames ChemLab Category to APPAREL - ATOMITE, moves ammo to AMMO category

[]CROSS Jetpack - moves Jetpack to new GEAR category

[]Dankrafft Pack (requires ECO, LEO, LEO Legendary Chip crafting patch included with LEO, LIF, LAB) - moves all settings tapes to a new MISC category

[]HalfGasMask - moves all HalfGasMasks into a new GEAR category

[]KCI - Kellogg's Cybernetic Implants - moves all KCI items into a new GEAR category

[]Tactical Flashlights - eXoPatch (requires the original mod, Tactical Flashlights, as well) - moves all Tactical Flashlights into a new GEAR category

[]Wasteland Imports - moves Throwing Weapons into a new WEAPONS category

[]The Wild Wasteland - moves confetti popper to new AMMO category, moves weapons to WEAPON category, moves Debug holotape to MISC category

          INSTALL & LOAD ORDER:

          • []Install with MO2 or the mod manager of your choice.

            []Choose either:

'Sort Some Stuff - Supreme' (this option includes all patches)

            OR

Any individual patches of your choice

          • Note: Some patches may require 'Sort Some Stuff - Base'

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Tiny mod that does exactly what it says—cleaner menus without bloat.
  • ESL-flagged ESPs mean no plugin slot waste, perfect for heavy load orders.
  • 8,282 downloads show it's been tried by a decent chunk of the community.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only 10 endorsements—small user base, so you're on your own if issues pop up.
  • Last updated in September 2024—might not play nice with newer mods or game updates.
  • Sorting changes could conflict with other UI overhaul mods that touch the same menus.
🎯 Is This For You?
For Fallout 4 modders who are tired of cluttered APPAREL/MISC menus and want a quick, lightweight fix. Also great for ECO users who want the same sorting with that framework. Skip if you're on console or want a full UI overhaul—this is purely organizational.

  • Check your load order to make sure this mod loads after any UI overhauls you have.
