📋 About This Mod
This is a standalone replacer for Snappable Covenant Walls by NovaCoru that removes the Settlement Keywords requirement and adds the workshop menu by use of Settlement Menu Manager (SMM) by cadpnq. It also includes the original mod's meshes with a corrected file structure.
Since this is a standalone replacer, you won't need the original mod anymore.
Requires Settlement Menu Manager (SMM) by cadpnq
Everything is located inside Structures > Fences > Covenant Walls
Issues: The icon for the menu that contains everything just shows a picket fence. I'm not sure how to change that, but it's really of no other consequence.

This standalone replacer for Snappable Covenant Walls removes the Settlement Keywords requirement and integrates with Settlement Menu Manager (SMM), making the mod more accessible. It includes the original meshes, so you get the same snapping functionality without extra dependencies. Ideal for Fallout 4 settlement builders who want Covenant walls without the hassle of Settlement Keywords.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- No more Settlement Keywords dependency—huge QoL improvement for modders who avoid that framework.
- SMM integration means the walls show up in a clean, organized menu instead of cluttering the vanilla tabs.
- 503 endorsements and 30k downloads show the community trusts this version over the original.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires Settlement Menu Manager (SMM) as a dependency—if you don't use SMM, this mod won't work.
- Last updated in November 2022—might have compatibility issues with newer Fallout 4 updates or other mods.
- It's a replacer, so you can't use the original Snappable Covenant Walls alongside it—pick one or the other.
For Fallout 4 settlement builders who want Covenant walls to snap properly but hate dealing with Settlement Keywords. Also for modders who already use SMM and want a cleaner workshop menu. Skip if you're fine with the original mod or don't use SMM.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have Settlement Menu Manager installed and enabled before adding this mod, or the walls won't appear in the workshop.
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, let it handle the file replacement—don't manually overwrite the original mod's files.
- Check your load order: this mod should load after SMM and any other settlement menu mods to avoid conflicts.
