SKK junk Scrapper (Legacy)

Crunch all your player inventory, workshop or Global Workshop Storage junk into components. Save weight, speed up inventory and workshop crafting displays. Plus consolidate partial fusion cores and fill all survival water bottles at once.

Just imagine the player can actually use a screwdriver and wrench in the field to automatically remove components from looted typewriters and desk fans in inventory rather than lugging them into ninja combat. Who fights carrying a deskfan ?

If you still want to use this original standalone solution, no problem but if you need the full description refer to the Scrapping function on the Global Stash page. As folks are still downloading and endorsing (appreciated !) this in 2022 some summary details:

This can be installed at any point in any stable game, it does not make any changes to existing scripts or assets so does not need a new game.

The player is given an [ . SKK Junk Scrapper ] configuration holotape after V111 exit, if not craft a spare at Chemlab.

HOLOTAPE ACTIONS

Scrap player Junk -  convert MISC junk items in inventory into components.

Scrap Workshop Junk  - convert MISC junk items in the nearest owned workshop into components.

Scrap GlobalStorage junk - convert MISC junk items in SKK Quantum/Global storage into components.

HOLOTAPE CONFIGRATION

Only Scrap safe junk [ Enabled | Disabled ]  Use MISC junk detection lists that exclude most items used in base game quests and crafting like Abraxo,  Coolent, Biometric Scanner. DISABLED will scrap all base game junk except quest unique items like the silver locket.

Consolidate Fusion Cores [ Enabled | Disabled ] consolidate patial cores in the target storage to whole numbers when scrapping is run. Any partial charge is held in reserve and added to the next consolidation which can top up a single core to 100%. If a full core can not be made from all the partials and reserve none will be scrapped to ensure your power armor is not left stranded.

Auto scrap player junk [ Enabled | Disabled ] as MISC junk items are added to the player inventory they are automatically converted into components using whichever scrap list is active.
