Skill Based Quests-Pull The Plug

Like with my previous mod, Skill Based Traps, I feel that Fallout 4 does not have enough skill checks in the game. Therefore, I have added a small check to the quest Pull The Plug.

In vanilla, Pull The Plug asks the player to repair 3 pipes so that Sully Mathis can activate the water pump to drain Thicket Excavations. To repair the pipes the player simply has to interact with the pipes and the quest would progress. I thought Bethesda missed an opportunity here and I have made it so the pipes now require a check in order to be fixed.

Each pipe can be fixed if the player either has a strength of 6 or higher (tighten the valve) or if the player has a piece of scrap adhesive (seal the leak).

All other aspects of the quest remained unchanged.

Installation:

I recommend installing this mod with a mod manager. Reason being is I edited the base script for the pipes in this quest rather than removing the script and adding a new one. Don't ask me why but I could not for the life of me get this to work when trying to add a new script despite the contents of the new script being identical to the base script. If you add this mod to you Fallout 4 data directory (ie manual download) it will overwrite the vanilla scripts if you extracted them there. Downloading this mod via mod organizer is completely safe and can be uninstalled worry free returning the old functionality of the quest.
