Singularity Grenade

SUMMARY

The Singularity Grenade launches itself vertically a few meters off of the ground before imploding and creating a spacetime anomaly, generating vacuum force and pulling in nearby objects and hostiles before closing itself off and exploding.

It was developed for the field after a couple of enterprising Institute scientists were curious about what would happen if two courser chip teleportation events were executed simultaneously, in the exact same location. This led to both losing at least one of their limbs, and each receiving severe frostbite from inter-dimensional "bleeding over" or as one of them liked to put it, "...like getting pulled into the depths of hell, only heck is very cold. Very, very cold."

The Singularity Grenade is available to craft at chemistry stations. It requires high Science skill.

ADDITIONAL INFO

This mod started as a much more ambitious collection of customizable grenade types, all of which has been preserved in the plugin. Unfortunately, at least as far as I've been able to determine, the game engine restricts applying naming rules to grenade type weapons which has made that idea much less fun to implement. Despite this, I have ideas for other fun grenade types all more or less based directly on grenade variants in the Borderlands games, and if and when these become more developed in this mod they will likely join their comrades in my other mod, BL GUNS.
